Brian has directed professional and community productions, mime, mask and performance art. His successful production of Liu, the Dragon King was invited to headline PlayFest 2000 and garnered several awards and nominations including "Outstanding Director." Other productions in clude Oh Henry! Musical Short Stories, Trouble in Santa's Workshop and The Dowser Dan Show. He also directed fight scenes for Austin Lyric Opera's Cold Sassy Tree.
While in Austin, TX, Brian served as General Manager for the Gilbert and Sullivan Society of Austin and was the Managing Director and the Founding President of Second Youth Family Theatre. Brian was a contributing member of the Second Youth artistic ensemble for more than ten years.
He holds a BFA in Theatre Performance from the University of Memphis.
Brian currently lives in Rhode Island where works for Brown University promoting their student and professional seasons. He continues to develop his own work, focusing on puppetry and digital media.
